When Jesus called the disciples to follow after him they left everything behind; friends, family, work, everything not know what they were getting themselves into and followed Jesus.  They jumped into the unknown where they would learn to follow and trust His every word in all circumstances.

They failed many times when they would do things in their own will but succeeded when they put Jesus first. Most were faithful and one was not.  But through those disciples the gospel aka the good news has spread 2000 plus years into Christianity today because of their faithfulness of doing whatever it took to advanced the word of God.  That is a strong call to go into the world and preach Christ to the lost, but if we consider ourselves a disciple of Jesus Christ then we must understand that calling and keep telling people the good news of what Jesus Christ did on that cross.

Peoples eternal salvation depend upon this Truth.  Let’s rise up to this call of discipleship.
