She was absolutely amazing and everything about this girl just drew me more and more to her. My love for her was more than I could ever imagine, so much so, that I would have done anything for her. I couldn’t wait for that next message, or just to hear her voice. I wanted to spend time with her, to hear what she was thinking, her dreams, her aspirations, and even her struggles. The more we talked, the more my love grew for her and she made me want to become a better person. My mind permeated thoughts of her smile, her voice, the words she wrote, and my heart was all hers. Whatever she wanted I was willing to do, because I loved her so much that I was willing to lay down my life to give her the best I could give.

Love causes you to want only the best for somebody else. No matter what, I was willing to do whatever it took because I loved her with all my heart! She was my everything, my precious gift from God, who I wanted to make happy and out love.

That love is real to so many people. We are willing to spend every second of our life with that person because we love them that much. Nothing will get in the way when actually love somebody. We are willing to give our very best to show how much we love them. That is a person, what about God?

What we give God reveals how much we do love Him. If we say we love Him, yet don’t spend time in prayer, in His Word, in fellowship with other believers, give to His church, or even tell people about our relationship with Jesus, then I want to suggest that you really don’t love Him. Our love requires the same sacrifice that Jesus did for us; our everything.

Love is something that we choose; it isn’t butterflies or emotions. Daily, we have to choose to love God with our everything. How do we do that? Well just like when we love a person, we want to spend time with them and at the same time give our everything. So that means, praying, reading His word (The Bible), spending time with the family of Christ (Fellowship), giving to the Church (What you give from your wallet shows what you really love), and tell the world how much you love Jesus.

When we are in a relationship with a person, that stuff naturally comes out of us. It’s the same thing with God, when you love Him, you naturally do things that reveal your love for Him. I hope this will help you evaluate your relationship with Jesus and see how much you do love God. It is never too late to love God more. 🙂

If you are encouraged by this, please share so others can fall deeper in love with Jesus.
