A whole 10 hours in Queenstown and I was ready to move on.   Slowly unfolded out of the back, jumped into the front seat and headed over to Dunedin.  Another long journey ahead with me and God.  As God and I were talking He was showing me so much stuff about life through His creation.  Life really can be a beautiful thing if you stop and take the time to experience it.  So many times we are looking for the next best things and forget to realize all the blessings that He has already put in front of us.

So on the way,  I was trying to think of some games that we could play, and the one that popped into my head was “HEY COW!”  The object of game is to stick your head out the window and yell HEY COW! as loud as you can to see how many cows would turn and look.  So being the only human in the car, I knew I could win this game!  So stuck my head out the window and yelled HEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY COOOOW!!!!!  And all of a sudden all these cows turned and looked at me.  YES!!!  I WIN!!!

But then I continued to look and I think I scared one because he started to pee himself.  And then another started to drop bombs.  So I stopped because who really wants to see a goofy looking white guy sticking his head out the window screaming at you while your enjoying doing nothing!

So, I pulled my head back in the window and continued my journey to Dunedin.  When I got there I didn’t know where to go so just headed to the beach.  God directed me to this AMAZING PLACE where as you walk straight down for about a mile, you get to a point where you just look out and are in AWE of God’s creation.  Again, God just blew my mind with his creativity and blessing of how he painted the blue skies with clouds that reflected off the water.

So I just sat there, as people just walked by, worshiping and praising God for him answering my prayer to stop the rain and open the skies to see His Majesty.   After, I continued to walk down the beach looking out in awe.  But as I looked over to my left there was this jabba the hut looking thing starring at me.  So I just stopped not knowing what to do!  Was he going to rush me?  Do I need to run for my life?

This sea lion just sat there, looked at me and smiled.  God said this is one of my beautiful creations.  So I sat there and had a staring contest with it.  And man was he good!!!  I lost 5 out of 5 times! Not even 1 blink!

About 20 minutes later after admiring this big lug and taking some pictures, a bunch of them got together and started to sing Another Halleluiah in perfect harmonies!  So I said thanks guys, and snapped another picture.

It really was a great night of just sitting under God’s amazing creation spending time with the Love of my life.  This Honeymoon just kept getting better and better!  The lights, went out and I headed back to the hostel!  YES a real bed for the first time on this journey!!!

The next day I woke up fully refreshed and ready for what God had in store…
You will never believe what I woke up to 🙂
