IAMFORGIVEN

I can’t hold back my thoughts for you.  From my waking moment out of the deep sleep that I enter back into this world, my thoughts are overtaken by your essence.  Just one second with you is like a thousand years in heaven.  A tingle overtakes my body and I just fall into full surrender as we are united through the Holy Spirit.  A spirit that can not be broken and a unity that no man can take away.  You hold the keys to my heart and released me from this long awaited love.  I have been waiting all my life for you and now I know that two hearts can beat as one.  The pulsation of perfection unity.

Have you ever been so in love with somebody that they have become your everything?  You wake up; they are on your mind.  Throughout the day, you long for just one more letter, one more text, one more message, anything that will show their love for you.  You are constantly wondering what that person is doing and wish you were there doing it with them.  An hour apart can seem like an eternity, and an hour together is never enough time.  When you are in love, tunnel vision takes over and nothing else in the world really matters.  You will do anything for that person, even lay down your life.

That is what Jesus Christ did for us; He laid down His life for love.  We are always on His mind and He is always waiting there for us to fall deeply in love with Him.  But because He loves us, He gives us free will to choose.  Unfortunately many of us today will choose to spend time loving something else.  I can’t even imagine how He must feel knowing that His creation would choose to love things of this world over the giver of life.  I am sure you have been in a place where you loved somebody and wanted to give up everything to be with them, but that feeling wasn’t mutual.  It’s not fun and if fact it hurts.  Try multiplying that by billions and tell me that God doesn’t carry a heavy burden.  He sat and watched Jesus be beaten and murdered because He knew that was the only way to bridge us back to Himself.   He wants to have a relationship with us, but we have to choose.

Now this isn’t a guilt trip, but something that God is showing me.  We have an opportunity to love God with all of our heart, but it is a choice.  Every second of our life we choose to do either our will or God’s will.  To spend time with God or time doing something else.  I hope you too will deeply fall in love with God and see the joy that comes with being in His presence.
