The Life in Light
In “final” darkness seen
The hope, the Light between
What’s assumed and given:
Grace envelops the forgiven
Who learn not to assume!
Sweetness’ gift long desired
Comes freely through Eyes inspired
And rests on humble “streets.”
The Offering then completes
Who learn not to assume!
The Love in rude appearance
Hardly unlooked for happenstance.
But another path some suppose
From the narrow walkway proposed
Who learn not to assume!
In Light and Love, the Sweetest Gift
And not too marginally heals the rift.
No tears, the hugs abound in joy
The Life in Light His wounds employ
Who learn not to assume!
