Transitions.

Life seems to be full of changes and transitions that constantly keep us in wonder of what will happen next.  We have all been at that point in life where we are just unsure of what the future holds and just want to know how things will turn out.  These can be some very frustrating times and can cause us to freeze our lives waiting to be in the know.  I dont know about you but I find myself paralized in living my life many times because I don’t want to make decisions based on what I don’t know.

How many times do we say things like…

“If only I knew God’s calling on my life THEN I could impact the people for Christ.”

“If only knew what career path to take THEN I could live life happy.”

” If only I knew who I was to marry THEN I could adapt my life accordingly.”

I can give a thousand scenarios on things we all battle with, but we have remember that without wonder this life would be pretty boring.  Just imagined if you already knew what you would be doing today, or how your life would be in 10, 20, 30 years from now.  All the excitement about not knowing would be gone and our daily adventures would be non existant.

Even though the transitional period is tough, it is in those times that God allows us an opportunity to fully trust that His will be done in our lives.  This grows our faith in God and builds up godly character.

So be patient, trust God and enjoy the journey.
