There is a lack of Real Godly Men out there… Ladies, do you find this statement true?
I feel like I hear this all the time from the girls inside the church. Godly women that are waiting for that man to rise up and swoop them off their feet by their godly character and integritous leadership.
Men, we need to hear these cries and rise up to be the MAN that God has called us to be. Why are we weak in this area? I suggest that it is because we would rather choose things of this world over seeking out God in our lives. We are setting our foundations in things that are temporary like money, cars, materialism, vocation and other idols. When I say idols, I mean anything that we put before God. We need to have our face in the bible; on our knees crying to God for His wisdom and guidance in our lives.
I know this isn’t easy and am weak just like the next guy, but that isn’t an excuse not to strive for a pure life in Christ. A life that is sold out to do ANYTHING that God calls us to do. We get so caught up in filling our time with things that take away from this, and then make excuses for things that we shouldn’t excuse. We need to work on becoming more Holy in our Character and striving to be more like Christ. This isn’t a works based salvation message, but a message that should point us to wanting to set aside those things that hinder our walk with Jesus and seek after the God who gives us the very breath that we breathe.
We can not become Godly men if our foundations are things of this world. The only way that we can start to grow our characteristics like Christ, is to know what Christs’ characteristics were like. He left the Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth to read, so that the Holy Spirit can work in us.
It basically comes down to this, there are a few great godly men out there that love God with their everything and are willing to put God over every possible idol. There are some guys that are in the process of learning how to do this, and then there are some that are not willing to follow in the ways of Christ to build up godly Character. My charge to you is the same to myself… Let’s fall on our knees, seek out Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to work in us so much that there becomes a huge flux of TRUE GODLY MEN!
I have heard it said that there is nothing more attractive to a woman than a man of godly character. Is this true Ladies?

TRUE!
And we (I we I) women should have our faces in our bible, on our knees, crying out to God for our husbands.
And if single, for our future husband.
Why are there so few? Is that what Jesus meant when He said the road is narrow? It seems there are many men at church, but very very few after God’s own heart.

Yes, it’s true. Not only for single women but for married women, too. Married women are praying for their husbands to be godly men, too. I believe that every Christian woman longs for a strong Christian husband to lead her and her family. It’s heartbreaking when that dynamic is not in place.
