It’s interesting that every year around my birthday I begin to think about my life and just reminisce about everything that I have been through; all the struggles, all the blessings, and all the people that have been there for me through it all.  There is one thing in my life that I know for sure and that is, I have been changed in so many ways!  This all began the day that God revealed Himself to me as Lord and Savior and I decided to follow the ways of Christ.  As I began to read the bible “Life” started to make sense and the ways of my old life started to disintegrate.  My desires for drinking, girls, partying, drugs, materialism, money, fame, and acceptance from others went away and new desires started to indwell in my heart.  I had become a new Creation in Christ.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

The older I get the more I realize how Big the Creator of the heavens and the earth is, and how much I am need of Jesus Christ to save me from my sins.  This Grace is one of the biggest factors in who I am.  Understanding that God loves me so much that he was willing to die on a Cross to take my place of punishment for all my bad, has allowed me to let his same grace and love flow out of me.  There is nothing I can but accept the Love of Christ, and by His grace I have been changed from the inside/out.  So who you see today isn’t who I was years ago, it is the Love of Christ working in me.  All glory be to God, for everything that is good is from God!
