IAMFORGIVEN

connected

I had just finished a hard days work and I was really tired and didn’t feel like going to church.  I just wanted to go home and watch a movie so I did.  The following week came and it hit me again, I was really tired and had a long week and didn’t want to go to church, but this time I started to think about how easy it is to make an excuse for not going. If I continued on this path of not going because I didn’t feel like it, when would I ever go?

So even though I was really tired I went to church and it was just what I needed.  The scriptures spoke to me in such a powerful way and the people really encouraged me.  If I would have just went home I would have missed out on the blessings of my church family.  Many times I drag my feet to go, but walk away jumping with Joy.

It all starts with a simple compromise!  We stop praying, we stop reading our bibles, we stop going to church, and before we know it we are back in the world living our old lifestyle.  We have to stay strong and keep running the race and know that we are not alone in this Christian walk.  The devil wants us to isolate ourselves from the Body of Christ, because that is when he is most effective.

Stay Connected and Stay accountable and don’t compromise your relationship with Christ.
